Located at Eastern Taiwan with its diverse natural biophysical environment, less human development and valuable indigenous culture, our institute has a mission to advance knowledge of the natural resources and understand of their management. Our faculty come from a variety of disciplines, including nature conservation, vegetation ecology, watershed management, landscape ecology, environmental geography, wildlife zoology, biogeochemistry ,conservation genetics and natural resources management.
